Effective interviewing is a cornerstone of successful corporate investigations. The PEACE model offers a structured, non-confrontational and evidence-focused approach to investigative interviews, aimed at obtaining reliable and defensible accounts rather than confessions. Johan Olsson introduces the five stages of PEACE (Planning and preparation, Engage and explain, Account, Closure, Evaluation) and shows how they apply in corporate investigations.
